BREXIT: Bill Cash CONFRONTS Theresa May on 'UNLAWFUL' Brexit delay – 'publish legal advice' Brexiteer Bill Cash asked UK Prime Minister Theresa May produce the Attorney General’s legal advice on a Brexit extension “as absolutely required”, following claims the decision to delay Article 50 is “unlawful”.

Bill Cash demanded to see the Attorney General’s legal advice on a Brexit delay during a heated Prime Minister’s Questions today.

The Brexiteer MP said “distinguished lawyers and former judges” are “convinced” the agreement is unlawful, reminding Theresa May of a letter he sent on Tuesday.

Sir Cash addressed the Commons: “Two days ago I asked the Prime Minister if, as absolutely required under the ministerial code and the Cabinet manual, she sought the Attorney General’s advice relating to her authorisation of the extension of the exit date? And would she publish this advice? She refused to answer.

Distinguished lawyers and former judges are convinced that a so-called international agreement is unlawful".
