Did you get a ticket to Wembley? (Picture: Dawbell/Big Hit) Tickets for BTS’s eagerly anticipated Wembley date popped up on resale sites for nearly £1,000 just six minutes after they went on sale. After last October’s two sell-out shows at London’s O2 Arena, RM, Jimin, V, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga and Jin are coming back to the UK – this time to play the iconic Wembley Stadium. However, despite the 90,000 capacity, ARMYs still had issues getting tickets – with touts putting tickets on resale sites just minutes after they went on sale on Ticketmaster at 8.30am. At 8.36am, Viagogo listed a ticket for £969 – £794 more expensive than the dearest ticket on sale. Tickets started at £45 for tickets at the back of the stadium, and went up to £160 for seats on the floor and tickets in front of the stage. And when offered tickets on the morning, Metro.co.uk could see tickets were officially sold up to £175. Meanwhile a VIP Soundcheck Package cost £235, with buyers offered a top tier seated ticket, early entry to Wembley, designated check-in, a soundcheck laminate and lanyard, and amazingly, access to artist soundcheck. However, there were no meet and greet packages or photo opportunities available for this tour, and the soundcheck package doesn’t include a Q&A or any opportunities to gift letters or presents to the boys. When Metro.co.uk attempted to get tickets from Ticketmaster, we were repeatedly kicked out of the queue – an issue that many ARMYs seemed to have. However, others reported smoother service on the Ticketmaster app, and there were plenty of fans who bagged tickets to see their idols. All in all, a mixed bag – we hope you managed to bag your ticket. BTS will play Wembley Stadium on 1 June. The Wembley date is one of two European concerts, with the IDOL singers also playing Paris’s Stade de France on 7 June.
