The Cultural Heritage Administration established a temporary organization called the Inter-Korean Cultural Heritage Foundation to protect North Korean cultural heritage.
The newly established body will create and revise laws that foster exchanges of inter-Korean cultural assets, as well as discuss related pending issues.
An Inter-Korean Cultural Heritage Policy Forum will also be held quarterly on topics such as cross-border cooperation to preserve the DMZ, comparative analysis of inter-Korean cultural heritage, and policies to promote cultural exchanges.
