Dillian Whyte threatens to sue WBC if Dominic Breazeale is named mandatory challenger for title Dillian Whyte threatens to sue WBC if Dominic Breazeale is named mandatory challenger for title fight with Deontay Wilder. DILLIAN WHYTE has threatened to sue the WBC if he is overlooked in favour of Dominic Breazeale for a title fight with Deontay Wilder.

Whyte insists he is the mandatory challenger for Wilder’s heavyweight belt.

And the British ace claims he will go down the legal path if Breazeale is instead given the chance to become the new champ.

He told IFL TV: “The WBC, they’re honourable and if they say something I’m sure they’ll stick to it.

“They’ve messed me about enough – something will come out of this. [Otherwise] I’ll take them to court.

“I’ll sue them. He [Breazeale] can be voluntary and I can become the automatic mandatory because the fight’s been ordered and I’m not pulling out.

“Breazeale is pulling out so I should become the automatic mandatory challenger.

“He shouldn’t be the mandatory in the first place. He’s just got the mandatory because he’s a b****, he got slapped about by Wilder and his brother.

“He pressed charges and tried to sue Wilder and then the WBC and Wilder done a compromise and he ended up bring the mandatory because he’s a b****.

“He didn’t fight his way to the mandatory, he b****ed his way to the mandatory, laid down on his back and rolled over.”
