Korean gov't considering extra budget to tackle fine dust problem: Finance minister

The nation's finance chief said the government is considering a supplementary budget to tackle the fine dust problem.
Minister Hong Nam-ki told reporters, the government is examining various policies to deal with the issue... but didn't provide details like the size of the possible extra budget.
This comes after the presidential spokesperson Kim Eui-kyeom announced earlier this month... that President Moon called on officials to concentrate their efforts on reducing fine dust and implement an urgent extra budget if necessary.
Kim added that the possible budget will be used to increase the number of air purifiers and to carry out joint projects with China.
