"김정은, 트럼프와 노벨평화상 받으면 거절 않을 것" While U.S. President Donald Trump thinks he deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his leadership in building peace with North Korea,… it now appears that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un might want one too.
Kim Myong-Chol, executive director of the Center for Korean-American Peace told the UK's Telegraph newspaper on Wednesday that he believed Trump deserved the prize,... but said Kim would not turn the honor down if it was given to both of them together.
He continued that if Kim gets honored,… it would be a sign that the peace process on the Korean peninsula is heading in the right direction.
Also, according to Radio Free Asia this week,… North Korean internal propaganda has been busy promoting the idea that Kim deserves a peace prize.
While the news could be just a form of propaganda within the regime,… optimists see it as a sign that Kim is serious about the peace process and is prepared to make compromises with Trump.
