The Shiva Principle - Maha Shivaratri Special

The Shiva Principle - Maha Shivaratri Special Who is Shiva?

Is He the One from whose head flows the celestial Ganga - pure, clear and ceaseless? Is He the One who holds the all-powerful Trident that has the power to destroy anything? Is He the One who showers calmness and coolness on everyone as the Moon shines brilliantly on His head? Is He the adorable father of Ganesha and Subramanya?

On February 17, 1985, Bhagawan revealed, "Shivarathri is a day when one tries to establish friendship between the mind and God. Shivarathri makes one aware of the fact that the same Divinity is all-pervasive... The entire phenomenal world is made up of Easwara. This principle of Pure Consciousness cannot be directly seen; it exists unseen. It is eternal, permanent and all-encompassing."

Bhagawan explained this idea through a lovely analogy. See this "cinema" to see the unseen in the seen!
