US has no funds for infrastructure, but plenty for empire

Despite the great wealth of the United States, its efforts to maintain its own roads has been sadly lacking. The capital city of Washington, DC is riddled with potholes – some mere blocks from the White House – which have damaged vehicles and injured drivers. RT America’s Rachel Blevins reports for News.Views.Hughes. Then investigative journalist Ben Swann joins Sara Montes de Oca to discuss the nation’s infrastructure problems. He argues that very little is being done to address decaying infrastructure in the US and that politicians’ privileged lives keep them from seeing it as a problem.
