What Imran Khan Gained with Malaysian PM Mahathir Mohamad Pakistan Visit | Pak ASEAN Access
The Wide Side analyses Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad visit to Pakistan. It is being called one of the most important visit in Pakistan Malaysia relations as the PM termed it the renewal in relations with Pakistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and his economic team met with the business community of Malaysia that came with Mahathir and pitched them ideas how to enhance the bilateral trade between Malaysia and Pakistan.
Pakistan also discussed to increase the exports to reduce the trade deficit and also showed interest to use Malaysia as a platform to enter the trillion dollar ASEAN market which is rapidly growing economy in the world.
Pakistan and Malaysia also signed multiple big projects including telecom sector, halal meat, halal food, IT and automobile industry and also Malaysian car maker giant Proton announced to open its car manufacturing plant near Karachi with the help of local player.
Malaysia also showed interest in buying JF 17 thunder from Pakistan.
