(a spontaneous cover) - hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have- but i have it

i decided on a whim to film this tonight even though I'm sick and losing my voice a bit (the urge was too strong).
so this explains the grainy video/messy surroundings but i sort of like it's crappiness. also this is acapella (very rough) because i can't play any instruments, nor do i have knowledge of sound mixing/editing and i didn't like any of the online instrumental tracks of this song. so i winged it and sang it with silence as i usually do to myself, anyway. please excuse the last "it" i sang ? when i was writing subtitles, i realized that's not right and the proper lyrics omit the last "it". but ok im getting on my own nerves again let iT GO lol
(also- the title was too long and i couldn't fit in "Lana Del Rey", for those who wish to know the artist of this song).
it was a fun experience and i had to start over twice because 1.prairie decided to use the litter box the first time 2.she used the scratch pad the second time lol and finally, she was just being absurdly cute and trying to get some attention T_T *heart melts*
thank u for spending your time here, i appreciate u. im glad i went through with this (because i often overthink about my content and its quality or what is "worth posting", and it's sort of sad that i care to the extent that i often tell myself im 'not good enough'). my vocals and this video isn't the best, but it's not quite the point! it is what it is :-) i hope you feel that you can do the same, be who you want, do what you love, and be free, for at least one moment, from the never ending pressure of standards. love you, and see you soon. a couple videos coming soon this weekend! wish me luck on editing while i have a heap of homework to do as well heheh.. i keep breathing and tell myself it's supposed to be fun!
