Ten Helpful Tips especially for Visual Learners who feel intimidated by commercial sewing patterns Hey y’all and welcome to Sewspire! Today I am here to share my recent tunic making experience using a commercial sewing pattern:

M7284: Size L, XL & XXL

M7284: Size XS, S, M

There are a total of 4 Segments in this Sewspire Sewing Series.

In this first video I am offering up Ten Helpful Tips especially for Visual Learners who feel intimidated by the commercial pattern sewing process:

In the remaining 3 Segments I share the adaptions I made to the instructions to better suit my learning style as well as the Order of Operations (OOO) in which I successfully constructed my tunics.

In Segment 1 I am sharing how I cut out the pattern pieces and constructed the front of the tunic:

In Segment 2 I am sharing how I constructed the back of the tunic and finished the seams:

In Segment 3 I am sharing how I attached the sleeves and hemmed the tunic:

I hope that you are feeling inspired to sew something today and that you enjoyed this 4 part Sewspire Sewing Series. I would love it if you would share photos with me of your tunics(s) on Instagram and Facebook using #sewspire and @sewspire.
