Watch Mongraal's Master Class only on ProGuides: In this video, I talk about how I believe Epic can fix the biggest problems within Fortnite and save Fortnite Battle Royale from dying. The three huge controversies in the Fortnite community right now are siphon and mats per kill in public matches, stretched resolutions and FOV, and competitive Fortnite. For each issue, I talk briefly about how the problem began, why Epic hasn't solved the issue themselves, and then I give my solution that I believe helps both sides of the community: casual players and competitive players. Siphon (health and shield per kill), mats per kill, and the increased harvesting rate from arena was removed from public matches in Patch 8.20. The community has since screamed revert at Epic as public matches have becoming a boring farming simualtor. I actually am with Epic and agree that arena/pop-up cup settings should not be in pubs, so I talk about something Epic could add that would make the normal game modes more enjoyable for pros and noobs. Stretched resolutions were removed and vertical FOV was locked in patch 8.30 which severely upset most of the community who enjoyed playing on those settings. Epic has been against adding an FOV slider for many reasons which I go over in the video, but there are actual less problems caused with an FOV slider than there are without one implemented into the game. Lastly, competitive Fortnite has always been a joke and marketing gimmick for Epic. I propose numerous solutions that will make the game better for casual viewers and pro players. There is no reason that Epic should be catering towards one side or the other when there are simple and basic solutions to solve all these problems and please everyone.
