Measuring for a new toilet seat

In this video we show you how to measure for a new toilet seat / toilet lid

You will need to take four measurements from your toilet, starting with the length

Place one end of your tape measure between the fixing holes and stretch out to the very front edge of your toilet. This will give you the length.

Next, measure across the pan at the widest point and note down the width.

Then the height. This is the distance from the fixing holes to the cistern or wall.

And finally, note the distance between the two fixing holes as well, as this may sometimes vary between seats.
