In honor of teaching appreciation week, Cathy Conley joins Adam Banks via-the telephone to discuss her teaching career. Ms. Conley currently teaches English at Knott County Central High School and is 1 of only 8 Freedom writers in the state of Kentucky. Ms. Conley recently was presented with the "Teachers Who Make A Difference" award by the university of Kentucky. Ms. Conley has been in the semi finalists (top 24) for Kentucky Teacher of the Year in 2016 and a finalist for KY Teacher of the year in 2017! Ms. Conley also received a Claes Nobel Distinguished Educator Award in 2018 from the National High School Distinguished Scholars Association.
