Was researching Twyfords history when I remembered I had filmed this a few years ago.
Only from what i've gathered. It's "Vitromant" earthenware as shown by the crazing, it dates no later than 1955 before the decision at the time to just use vitreous china (a slow move). Correct me if i've missed anything out. The cistern appears to be the late 50s / early 60s batch..
Good cistern and flush despite the condition. Hopefully it's still there today.
