A MUM was horrified to find a creepy man had been living in her attic "for some time" and visiting her 14-year-old daughter at night. Matthew Casto, 18, was arrested on a trespass charge in Mt Juliet, Tennessee, USA, after police were called to a woman's home for a report of an intruder. The mum told investigators she came home to find a bearded, long-haired man at the top of her stairs. When he realised he had been spotted, Casto "bolted" into the 14-year-old daughter's bedroom, while the woman screamed at him and demanded he leave the home, Scoop Nashville reports. Cops had to forcibly remove Casto from the property after he refused to leave. An investigation revealed the teen had been living in the house "for some time" and used to come down into the daughter's bedroom via her closet at night, after she had locked her bedroom door. Police said they warned him to stay away from the girl when she ran away from home on May 29. She was found safe the next day in Nashville and returned home. It is unknown what relationship Casto had with the girl. He was booked into the county jail after his arrest on a single count of aggravated criminal trespass. After posting a $2,000 bond he was released on June 6. He is due back in court tomorrow.
