This is so much more than a walk through of Silca's global headquarters. It's part history lesson, part welding lesson, and part assembly lesson. And then there's the over-the-top materials selection and process that owner Josh Poertner uses to ensure they end up with the highest quality product possible.
We watch their titanium water bottle cages go from raw tube stock to a precision-finished jewel of a component, from hand bending and checking to computerized laser welding, it's the perfect example of why their products cost what they do.
