What is an inert material

What is an inert material An inert material is an inactive substance, in which nothing will react with it, within the environment of the materials designed use. There will be no outgassing, no corrosion, and no change of the material into something it's not designed to change into. In order to classify a material as inert, one needs to consider the materials' environment of use. For example, the 'hot zone' of our desktop vaporizer apparatus, where temperatures can reach over 1400*F, we exclusively feature inert materials, ceramic and borosilicate glass. In the dry herb vaporization zone, where temperatures can reach ~421*F, we exclusively feature inert materials silicone and titanium. In a vaporizer apparatus, the materials must also be designed for use, to not react with the different plant materials being vaporized. The Desktop Pro sets these market standards by putting this goal at the forefront of our design.
