However it is important to note that many doorways with sidelights are constructed a single unit; thus the Door Devil heavy duty screws are not being secured by the 2x4 framing of the home; but rather within the structure of the sidelight unit; therefore, Door Devil's effectiveness is reliant upon the construction of your sidelight unit.
Additionally, make sure to verify that sidelights are set back far enough from the door frame's edge to ensure the 3.50" screws provided by Door Devil do not impinge upon the sidelights and crack the glass. It may be safer to purchase (3) separate shorter ( e.g 2.0") size #12 screws to mount the strike plate.
