Vivo introducing a new series in the country. It is the Vivo S series. The company has very recently launched the Vivo Z1 Pro in India for starting price of Rs 14,999. Now the company is gearing up to bring a new S series smartphone in India. It is the Vivo S1 that has been launched in some other markets previously. Now the Vivo S1 is coming to India and most likely it will be launching the country next month, i.e August. Vivo is yet to confirm the launch date of the Vivo S1 in India.
Outside India the Vivo S1 comes packed with an octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 processor and is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. We expect that the company will launch the same international model in India. The international model of the Vivo S1 comes with a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display that offer 1080x2340 pixels resolution. The smartphone includes a waterdrop notch that fits the selfie camera.
The Vivo S1 includes triple rear cameras and single sensor on the front. The phone includes a primary 16-megapixel primary sensor with an /f1.78 lens, secondary 8-megapixel wide-angle sensor and third is a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front the smartphone includes a 32-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 lens. On the software front the Vivo S1 runs Android Pie with Funtouch OS 9 on top. The smartphone also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, massive 4500mAh battery, among other things.
As for the pricing the Vivo S1 is expected to be between Rs 17,000 - Rs 20,000 smartphone in the country. Vivo recently launched the Vivo S1 in Indonesia for IDR 35,99,000 that roughly translates to around Rs 17,800) and we believe Indonesia and India price will not vary much. But as per competition we expect it under 15000/-
Vivo Z1 Pro is a new device by Chinese smartphone maker Vivo, which is known for its sleek designs. The smartphone is set to debut in India with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC. The company has already announced that the phone will be available for purchase in India through Flipkart. The Z1 Pro has an 'in-display selfie camera' which is also called the hole-punch cut out at the front. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with fast charging tech which means that your device will never run out of juice. It is very powerful and also capable of allowing up to 4K video recording at 30fps. The chipset comes with the Snapdragon X15 LTE modem to supports download speeds of up to 800Mbps. Apart from that, the chipset offers support for HDR 10 displays and a dedicated AI (artificial intelligence) engine. All these make the upcoming phone a powerful device which would be able to handle all your media, videos, and games, with ease. The phone runs on Android 9.0 (Pie) with the company’s Funtouch 9 UI on top. The user interface is friendly and offers an immersive experience.
