Ask Yourself & Jack Angstreich Finally Resolve The NTT/Particularism Issue

Ask Yourself & Jack Angstreich Finally Resolve The NTT/Particularism Issue Welp, it took 3 hours, but we managed to get on the same page. Thanks for the good convo, Jack.

Conclusions:

1. NTT is probably equally likely to cause particularists/generalists to reflect on their values.
2. Generalists would have a harder time 'generating' an anti-vegan position than particularists (because principles are more susceptible to reductio).
3. The values held by particularists and generalists raised in similar environments are likely to be similar.
4. Those values probably (according to our intuitions) lean towards veganism.

My final thoughts:

There will always be some people (generalist or particuarlist) who simply can't be persuaded. But none-the-less, NTT remains an effective tool for teasing out the conclusions of different moral views and displaying them such that one can reflect on them and consider how best to structure their own moral view.
