Cancer Screenings On The Increase

The Trinidad and Tobago Cancer Society has seen an increase in the number of persons getting screened for the various types of cancer.

That's according to its Chairman, Dr. Asante Le Blanc.

On Saturday, the Society hosted its 2nd Bubbles For Life Fundraiser as part of its attempt to educate the public and encourage more screening.

Dr. Le Blanc said screening is the best weapon against cancer.

The event also celebrates those who have lost the battle, those who continue to fight, and all cancer survivors.

The Run/Walk/Dance for cancer is a fight against types of cancers.
