COOKIES
1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
1 c up sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
3 cups quick oats
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

APPLES
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups water
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
6 drops red food coloring
3 TBS butter
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2/3 cup shortening
1/2 cup milk
6 apples

COOKED DRESSING
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp dry mustard powder
dash cayenne
4 egg yolks
1 1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vinegar
1 TBS butter

ROLLS
1 package yeast
1/4 cup water
3/4 cup milk scalded
1.2 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
3 eggs
4 1/2 cups flour
