How my Mom Cheated on my Dad

How my Mom Cheated on my Dad Hey. Today Jenessa tell her story about how her Mom is cheating on her Dad with her other Dad.
"So, to explain, we’ll need to rewind a little. I was born accidentally. My parents were teenagers when they had, and as a result, they weren’t very well-prepared with my upbringing. Like most people in my situation, it was the grandparents who came to the rescue. They would buy me the majority of my diapers, often help my folks pay bills, and so on. But throughout this, my parents still tried to do their best for me. This includes their attempt at staying together. They continued to be a couple until I was 13, that was 5 years ago. They broke up over a lot of differences. Dad was an atheist, Mom was Catholic. Dad like rock, Mom liked Country. Dad had his eggs scrambled, Mom had hers inseminated. They were never a match to begin with. When they broke up, I wasn’t sad. I was looking forward to the end of an era. An era of bickering, fighting, tension, and so on. It was long overdue. 13 years overdue, in fact. And after they split, my Mom began dating again. Mom would bring home new guys every couple months, until she settled with a man named Skinner. Skinner is a rich fellow. He’s retired doctor, his parents were both lawyers, and over the years he’s saved up all his earnings with the exception of a few stocks. Those stocks have done incredibly well. So Mom was set. And so was I, as he was very quick to buy me things. Buying a person things is a very unique was to develop a bond. It also sort’ve worked, I thought I liked the guy, I had never been given gifts much growing up, so it was new to me. But then I started talking to the guy and realized he was terribly boring. He had the personality of a dying log. Actually, a dying log has lots of character, so I’ll take that back. I asked if he was into movies, he said not really. I asked if he listened to music, he said rarely. I asked if he read books, he said only manuals. Only manuals? Okay, psycho. Now sure he was boring for me, but he was much more boring for Mom. She was dating the guy. Think about it like this, McDonalds with great company, is more enjoyable than the Sublimotion with a mannequin. But it didn’t matter, they got married, and he became my Dad. Well only kind’ve. I called him Dad to try and support them but I don’t really feel that way. Also, Mom should’ve said probably said no, but with the size of that diamond, I can see why she didn’t. That thing looks like it sunk the Titanic. But for a bit there, Mom went gaga over Skinner. Because like I said, buying people’s admiration can be very effective. Now, fast forward a year, and Mom had become very tired of Skinner. But she signed a prenup, and separating would mean she wouldn’t get to keep this life of luxury. So, during one of my visits with my Dad, my real Dad, Mom decided to stay and join us. Eventually, my biological parents were laughing, reminiscing through rose tinted lenses, and talking about Skinner. Mom spilled all the beans on Skinner, going so far to say he wishes he was more like my real Dad in some ways. Then they were silent, and decided to call it a Dad. I spent the following week at Mom’s, because I had to go to school. And everything seemed normal, until one of those school days I had went home at lunch, as I forgot some homework, and saw my biological parents in the house together. Skinner was not around, I don’t know where he was, but he wasn’t there. My separated parents were, and they were kissing quite passionately. I screamed, they looked up at me, and I stood still - in shock. “Janessa, it’s not what it looks like,” said Mom. “Actually it kinda is, come sit down.” said Dad. I looked at Mom. “Are you leaving Skinner? Or are you just having fun?” I asked. They didn’t say anything. They didn’t need to. I grabbed my bag and ran out from the house. That was yesterday. So today, I asked Mom again. She said she and my Dad are just having fun, and that Skinner doesn’t need to know. I told Skinner everything. He was in the kitchen, making some breakfast, while Mom was out in her garden, and I told him what had happened. That Mom was cheating. “Oh,” said Skinner, in his monotone voice. “What are you gonna do?” I pressed on. “Oh, nothing.” he replied. “Aren’t you pissed?” I asked. “No, it’s fine. I’ve got to finish making eggs anyways” he replied. I stopped there and left for school. That man truly has less personality than a dying log. I’m not sure how things will change with this situation, but I did learn that sometimes the adults in your life shouldn’t be role models. And that sometimes, people can get away with doing the wrong thing. That’s what makes doing the right thing so impressive, it’s very often not the most convenient route. I just home Mom and Dad can learn that one too".
