Jill explores the emotion of longing and the relationship between a mother and a child through contemporary. It depicts the story of a child being in a dark and isolated place, longing for a sense of familiarity. It is the mother that brings light and warmth into the child’s life. This piece resonates very strongly with Jill, who considers her mum her biggest inspiration.
