ORR : - Drinking water supply to 190 villages adjacent to Nehru outer ring road
- Drinking water scarcity resolved for 7 lakh people.
- ORR spread across 158 km 13 mandals around Hyderabad city
- MEIL has taken up this project with Rs. 628 crore on the annuity basis
- 5 Ground level storage reservoirs (GLSR) constructed with 2-3 ml capacity
- 159 ESLRs constructed with 90 to 2500 kiloliters capacity
- MEIL also constructing 406 overhead storage reservoirs (OHSR) and 12 overhead balancing reservoirs.
- To supply drinking water to every household, MEIL is establishing 1350 kilometre DI pipeline
- 17 kilometres of MS and 335 kilometres of DI pipeline work already completed.
