CS Chelugui challenges engineers not to approve constructions without waste management roadmaps

Water and Sanitation Cabinet Secretary Simon Chelugui has challenged engineers not approve any construction that does not give clear road map on waste management. Speaking during a conference organized by the Institute of Engineers of Kenya in Diani, Kwale County, Chelugui said waste management was becoming a major challenge in the country and any project being undertaken must take cognizance of the environment and the river bodies.
