Liberal Amarjeet Sohi says Trudeau video, images in racist makeup opportunity to educate

Liberal Party member Amarjeet Sohi spoke Thursday about the video and two images showing Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau in racist makeup and said it was an opportunity to educate children, peers, neighbours and co-workers of how hurtful these images can be.

He also spoke about his personal thoughts on the matter, calling the images "disheartening" and "disappointing," but said Trudeau conveyed his "disappointment in his actions of the past" and was "very sorry," adding that the images were "not reflective" of Trudeau as a leader.
