An eyewitness filmed the moment of the fall of two airborne combat vehicles during the Center-2019 exercises in the Orenburg region.

The accident occurred last Friday, September 20, during the mass landing of airborne vehicles from Il-76 aircraft. The frames show that the equipment did not open the parachute and it crashed to the ground with a stone. The Ministry of Defense has already confirmed that the cause of the accident was "a malfunction of the parachute system."

During the fall, none of the servicemen was injured, as the equipment was dropped without crews. But from the armored vehicles themselves, as the photos show, there were only fragments.

In the Center-2019 exercises held from September 16 to 21, the military practiced methods of using force groupings to ensure security in the Central Asian direction and to combat international terrorism.
