Thousands of Hong Kong students boycott classes on first day of school to protest

It was the start of the new school year in Hong Kong but thousands of students from the city's universities boycotted classes to rally against the government. Several hundred secondary school students also took part, piling pressure on Hong Kong's leaders to resolve months of increasingly violent protests.
