Bernie Sanders Promises To Legalize Marijuana Within 100 Days Of Presidency

Bernie Sanders promised he would issue an executive order legalizing marijuana. He said if he becomes president, he would legalize it in his first 100 days. According to Reuters, legalization would also vacate the records of those convicted by the drug. It would also invest tax revenue from legal sales to the communities hit hardest by former laws. Sanders said: “We’re going to legalize marijuana and end the horrifically destructive war on drugs.”
