后巴刹时代的集体感伤 Continuing the Bustle of Kluang Wet Market

居鑾老巴刹被推倒后，一些摊主在附近另起炉灶成立老巴刹茶室，继续供应现磨咖啡豆、海南咖啡茶飲、脆皮麵包、鱼丸粉、牛腩粉、热炒与面食等等，从前巴刹内的邻居如今在茶室变互相依偎的家人。自立门户的陈利成茶室，老板娘偶尔回去老巴刹旧址，两鬓飞霜的人找到的却是停车场——一代人从小在老巴刹工作，少年不识愁滋味的童年时光，只能在食物与咖啡里点滴留存。

For locals, the former Kluang wet market traded more than food and groceries. It’s a place where genuine greetings and stories were exchanged. When the inevitable eviction notice came, two coffee shops were set up to replicate the warmth with freshly grinded coffee powder, noodles and buns
