The story behind the inspiration of this song started way back in 2015. It was the beginning of my junior year in High School when I made the decision to pursue music as my career.
Each time I would share my dream and vision for my career with others, they’d put doubts in my mind that I was committing a blunder by picking a career in a very risky music industry. I even got labeled by some as a “crazy person.” Many a times I would give into the opinions of others about my life & career and start believing that I should live up to their expectations and pursue something more practical and just keep music as my hobby.

After multiple times of losing myself, there came a moment in my life where all of that changed. I decided that I am going to start living my life for myself, not for others. It’s after I lost myself, I truly realized how much music means to me and that pursuing MUSIC and sharing my songs with the world, is the purpose of my life. In that moment, I became the phoenix that started soaring towards the purpose of my life, towards the person that I am meant to be.
