Congress Leaders Have Opposed Giving Shivajinagar Constituency Ticket To Rizwan Arshad....,


ಶಿವಾಜಿನಗರ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಉಪಚುನಾವಣೆ ವಿಚಾರ.ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಅಂಗಳ ತಲುಪಿದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಫೈಟ್.ಎಂಎಲ್ ಸಿ ರಿಜ್ವಾನ್ ಅರ್ಷದ್ ಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಲು ವಿರೋಧ.ಶಿವಾಜಿನಗರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡರಿಂದ ವಿರೋಧ.ಸ್ವತಃ ರಿಜ್ವಾನ್ ಅರ್ಷದ್ ಅವರ ಮಾವನಿಂದಲೂ ವಿರೋಧ.


The Congress party remains divided over whom to field from the Shivajinagar constituency for the bypolls. While the party had asked Rizwan Arshad to prepare to contest from the constituency, there is stiff resistance to his candidature. Several Congress leaders have opposed a ticket to him. Several Congress leaders are said to have spoken to senior Congress leaders Ahmed Patel and Ghulam Nabi Azad against the candidature. Local Cong leaders have refused to work for the polls if rizwan is fielded. The Congress leaders are against a ticket to Rizwan Arshad as he has been defeated in elections twice. Arshad lost from Bangalore Central to BJP’s P C Mohan twice - in 2014 and the recent Lok Sabha polls.
