Fathers have a tendency to wait too long before taking action. This happens in relationships, with their children, and with a host of many other things. As it relates to their children, fathers are more inclined to wait until there is a problem instead of pro-actively doing things to avoid that problem.

We fathers need to be proactively parenting our kids instead of waiting until something happens. We need to be present, communicate with them, and wake up to be actively involved in their lives...all the time!
