FAVORITE TRACKS: Lights Out, Bad Name, Hit Man, What's Real, From A Distance, Family & Loyalty, So Many Rappers
LEAST FAVORITE TRACKS: Bring It Back Here
STRENGTHS: 1) It's great to hear Guru's smooth style again as he drops wisdom, kicks knowledge and spits posthumous bars that are still relevant in 2019! 2) DJ Premier's production throughout is great as expected with lots of heavy drums and those quintessential string & key samples! 3) Unlike a lot of posthumous releases, it really feels like a lot of love & care went into this one. It doesn't feel like a bunch of tracks thrown together for a quick buck. 4) The features are great!
WEAKNESSES: 1) Not really a weakness, but if you're not a fan of traditional hip-hop you might find this album to be a bit dry because it doesn't get very experimental or overly deep.
