Jodie Chesney was stabbed in the back while sat in a play park socialising with friends in east London on Friday 1 March. The 17-year-old was the victim of an unprovoked attack and died in a petrol station. Jodie’s father Peter says he found out about his daughter’s death while he was out celebrating his birthday and he talks about setting up a charity to help the sort of lives of those who killed his daughter.
The BBC followed Peter and his family for eight weeks as they went through the high-profile murder trial at the Old Bailey where two teenagers were convicted of Jodie’s murder.
