Thailand News: Biometrics is now a compulsory requirement to enter Thailand, a good thing to weed out the shady overstayers, banned tourists, criminals and paedophiles!

On entry and exit, you give your finger prints - the first time is a little slower because they need to create your record.

I was also asked for very precise details of my hotel, e.g. street name (i'd just put Pattaya).
