Soundly includes some basic editing functions like choosing length, pitch/speed, and reverse.
Once you find the sample you want to use and apply any of the effects you want, simply drag & drop the audio into your DAW, NLE, or even to the Desktop. In this video we show Pro Tools, Media Composer, Bitwig, FL Studio, and the Windows Desktop - but any other NLE or DAW will work the same way.
Soundly is compatible with Windows and OSX and is free to download.

Get Soundly here
Soundly makes it easy to browse what can seem to be an insurmountable collection of local and cloud samples. The search function and metadata are top notch so you can find just the right sound for your project, and get back to work.
I highly recommend it, at least check it out for yourself.
