The Norwegian tactician has done wonders turning around Man United’s season and the form of Paul Pogba, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford. Ole’s caretaker reign at the helm of Manchester United was simply too good for Man Utd to not offer him the job on a permanent basis.

We interviewed Norwegian football journalist Ingrid Halstensen from TV2, the official broadcaster of the Premier League in Norway about the impact that Ole Gunnar Solskjær has made during his short time at Man Utd and what the future potentially holds for the club with Ole at the wheel.

Solskjær’s appointment has had a massive impact on Norwegian football as a whole, even the staff at Molde - the club that he leaves to take the MUFC wheel - have pointed to the long term benefits of the baby-faced assassin taking over as Man Utd boss.

With the likes of Michael Carrick, Kieran McKenna & Mike Phelan alongside him, Solskjær seems to have formed a tactically astute and experienced team of coaches which will surely help make his transition into full-time boss a smooth one. There will be huge questions asked of Solskjær in the coming weeks, but Man Utd fans across the globe will be massively excited to see what the tactically sound & much-loved coach can build at Old Trafford given time and money.
