Liverpool news : Philippe Coutinho would prefer to face Liverpool in the CL final than the semi-fin Manchester United's form has not been what fans were hoping for since the permanent appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.  Apart from scraping through against Watford, United have succumbed to defeats by Arsenal and Wolves twice in what has not been good preparation for their up and coming Champions League game.  United face Barcelona, who now have one hand on the La Liga title after defeating Atletico Madrid with two late goals from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.  One Barcelona player who knows exactly what playing against Manchester United feels like in a big game is former Liverpool player Philippe Coutinho.  The Brazilian hasn't had the best start to this Barca career and has in fact already been linked away from the club, with United being one of the favourites to claim his signature. For a start, Manchester United have a great goalkeeper and huge players in attack,” said Coutinho.  “Pogba and Lukaku are capable of hurting any defence and Pogba, in particular, is a great player.  “We will have to be very careful to stop him because he can generate a lot of problems for us and I think the duel with Pique will be important in both matches."  Due to his allegiance with Liverpool, Coutinho will be even more passionate about knocking out United, and has admitted that facing Liverpool in the next round is not what the Brazilian would have chosen in an ideal world.  “What I can say is that I’m glad that Liverpool are doing well this year and, if the draw had been different, I would have liked to play the Champions League Final against them.  “Klopp is a great coach and it was only a matter of time before he got the team performing the way they are," Coutinho added.  “They are having an incredible season. But so are we – and I am focused first on Barcelona.”
