(JKNO) On 13-05-2019 protest was organized by Gurmat Taksal (IGS) J&K to condemn the inhuman and gruesome rape incident of the 3 year old girl Trehgam where the incident took place. In order to express their rage and rebuke the members held a candle light protest at Lalchowk near gurdwara sahib amira kadal.
They took a stand for the girl and demanded death penalty for the culprit. They promulgated the teaching:
"Dekh parieyaan changiyaan mavaan bhena dhiyaan jaane"
(Recognise all girls as your own mothers,sisters and daughters. Their individuality must be recognized). (JKNO)
