Essay Writing 2: Planning and Outlining

Planning and developing an outline are fundamentally important to writing a good essay! Not only does a plan help you understand your topic and break tasks into manageable chunks, it helps direct your research and argument structure. An outline gives you an overview of what your essay will look like, and ensures you develop your key points (premises) in the most cohesive and logical order. In this episode, I go through a few planning methods, and discuss how to develop an outline.
