Hulikal Falls - One of the most scenic and picturesque water fall

Many people know that there are a bunch of waterfalls around Shivamogga district. One among them is ‘Hulikal falls‘. Hulikal is a small village situated in  Hosanagara talluk, Shivamogga district. Hulikal is known for heavy rainfall it recieves during mansoon. The range of the Ghat is known by the name Hulikal Ghat 
It is situated in dense forests of Western Ghats.Hulikal has a record for receiving highest rainfall in Karnataka for the past few years which has beaten Agumbe, Thirthahalli. So it is also called ‘rain capital of Karnataka’.
