TMC leader Madan Mitra cancelled his Ram-Katha that has been proposed for Wednesday. Amid controversy over raising of Jai Shri Ram slogans in West Bengal, Trinamool Congress leader Madan Mitra has planned to organise a 'Ram Katha' event on July 24 in his home turf Bhowanipore. He has also resolved to erect statues of Ram and Sita alongside the idol of Devi Durga during Durga Puja.
