The GMT 40 has been extremely let down in pictures, so I'm happy to share this video, which I hope can manage to catch a glimmer of just how good this thing is in the metal. Sure it may be a pretty simple, straight forward wrist watch but the devil is truly in the details, it's clean and timeless aesthetics are well magnified by all of the fine details and excellent finishes surrounding this wonderfully sporty travelers watch. Sure it might not be the cheapest automatic GMT on the block but considering all of the fine attributes associated, I'd hardly consider it overpriced. When you put into context the Top Grade ETA 2893-2 tuned to just +/-4 seconds a day, near luxury level of finishing, and small batch Swiss Made construction, one might even argue that the GMT 40 could be considered a value in some ways.
