Pro-Kurdish protesters in Berlin try to block Oberbaum Bridge

Footage shows police pushing protesters away while trying to take a banner reading "Stop the Turkish state terror" off their hands. The banner was eventually confiscated.

Footage also shows the arrest of one of the protesters, and a police officer pushing back a demonstrator who is screaming at him.

Thousands of protesters have come out on the streets since Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the beginning of a military operation, dubbed 'Operation Peace Spring', on October 9 to create a 'safe zone' cleared of US-backed Kurdish groups.
