The local share market has rallied on Friday afternoon to snap a two day losing streak. The ASX 200 was down 30 points at its worst levels but ended the day 6 points or 0.09% higher at 6669. Over the course of the week, the index still lost 1%, falling to its first weekly decline in a month. Like yesterday, banks were the main weights but gains for health, communications and energy stocks overcame bank weakness. Visit CommSec’s Market News hub:
