Shih Tzu Grooming: How to CORRECTLY Blow Dry Your Shih Tzu's Coat

Here's are some tips on how to correctly blow dry your shih tzu's coat so it will not end up with more tangles.

Please take note of the following (some of which I wasn't able to show in the video):
1. Towel dry the coat. Avoid rubbing the towel in the coat. Just press and squeeze.
2. It is recommended that you use a blower made specifically for pets. If you have to use a human blower, make sure the settings is correct. Blow dry the coat using the warm setting.
3. Brush through the coat while you are blow drying.
4. Keep your eyes open for mats or skin problems while your are brushing and drying. Make sure to attend to those after when you see one.
5. Make sure the hair is flowing straight away from your dryer to prevent whip knots.
6. Make sure that the coat is completely dry.
