Beijing urges Washington to abide by one-China principle

Beijing is urging Washington to stop meddling in issues related to the Chinese territory of Taiwan. It comes after U.S. national security advisor John Bolton criticized China following reports that two People's Liberation Army jets crossed a line halfway between Taiwan and the mainland. China's Foreign Ministry urged Washington to stop making trouble and adhere to the one-China principle.
